Firecloth Description

Our firecloth(3500g/m2) is made with an extra thick coating of high-temperature silicone rubber over a very heavy and dense woven E-glass cloth. It's used for a variety of applications in heavy industry and aerospace. Liquid metal simply bounces off the extra thick coating of high-temperature silicone rubber.

Firecloth Application

Our firecloth can be easily fabricated into a wide variety of covers such as festoon cable protection covers, EAF cable covers (electric arc furnace cable covers), and other heavy duty protection devices. Grommets, rivits and fasteners with backing washers can be used to easily attach this fabric to enclosures or machinery. It's commonly used as weld splatter protection blankets, or used as a facing material in fabricating high-temperature insulating blankets
